Trail’s End Risk was formed in 2022, when the Commercial Insurance Agency that Shawn Fritts worked for was purchased by a large publicly traded agency. To avoid going back into the Corporate World, he formed Trail’s End Risk as a Commercial Lines focused agency. In 2024, Steve and Nicole Doss joined Trail’s End Risk. Steve and Nicole had operated a Farmers Insurance agency in Collinsville since 2011, until which time they sold it back to Farmers.
Unlike the large agency culture, Trail’s End Risk is client focused. We do not have “minimum premiums” or “minimum revenue” thresholds that keep clients from getting the service and consultations that they deserve. We believe that the small start-up companies deserve or need even more help in those fragile times. While we support small commercial accounts, we are uniquely equipped to handle all sizes of clientele. We have decade long relationships with most of our carriers, and with that, we have access to the “middle market” and programs that smaller agencies typically do not qualify for. With this access, we are confident in supporting all lines of bonding and insurance……except Health Insurance. We don’t do Health Insurance.
